The singer can be seen eating a Tattooed Chef pepperoni pizza in his latest music video, “emo girl.”

Machine Gun Kelly released a new music video with WILLOW for the song “emo girl” off his new album, mainstream sellout. In the music video, Machine Gun Kelly can be seen eating frozen vegan pizza from the brand Tattooed Chef.

The music video for “emo girl” is reminiscent of the late 90s and early 2000s pop-punk music scene and features Machine Gun Kelly getting kicked out of a girl’s house with nothing but a box of frozen pizza covering his naked body.

The pepperoni pizza the singer then takes a bite of as the girl throws all of his clothes out of the window and onto the lawn is from the brand Tattooed Chef. Made with a gluten-free cauliflower crust, plant-based pepperoni, and mozzarella-style cheese shreds, this pizza is one of the most popular choices in the frozen pizza aisle.

“emo girl” premiered on February 9, which also happens to be National Pizza Day. To check out the vegan pizza plug, watch the music video at 52 seconds.

Cayla has been writing for VegOut since 2020 and has been plugged into the LA vegan food scene since Veggie Grill was pretty much the only vegan restaurant in the city. Aside from writing articles, Cayla enjoys embracing their inner 85-year-old by listening to classical music, making playlists for their friends, and staying active through swimming, hiking, cycling, and yoga. In their free time, Cayla likes writing poetry, learning about outdoor survival and alternative lifestyles, and is always searching for the best loaf of sourdough bread.

Tikkā is a northern Indian dish involving marinated protein or vegetables cooked in a tandoor, or clay oven. My version is made with marinated tofu baked on skewers in a conventional oven to mimic the traditional cooking vessel, which adds a char and smokiness to the dish. Using smoked paprika further pays tribute to the traditional cooking technique. This tikkā is best served hot with cooling mint chutneys and is delicious in lettuce wraps as well. For lettuce wraps, dice the tofu and vegetables into smaller pieces after cooking and fill the lettuce leaves just before serving.
